Bantu Batho fragrances
Banto Bathu Fragrances is a proudly South African brand that incorporates all of South Africa’s diversity in a
fragrance that represents South Africa’s uniqueness as whole. A fragrance that embodies our
culture, history and most importantly that speaks our language.
Our brand name was inspired by the definition of the word ‘Bantu’. In its most basic form the word
Bantu in many African languages means people. This word is also used to classify the linguistic group
in which most South African languages are derived, for example Sesotho, isiZulu, isiXhosa and many
others. The Bantu linguistic group connects us with many African groups in the north part of the
continent which proves that we as Africans share a common ancestry.
